NEW NEIGHBORHOOD- CROSS CREEK RANCH

Last Saturday while driving through my normal market area, I found a new (for me) neighborhood named Cross Creek Ranch. It is located right off 1093 just west (past Westheimer Lakes North) of 1463 and it looks like it is going to be a really special Master-Planned Community. This community is being developed by Trendmaker Development Corp. and reminds at this stage of development of Grand Lakes. Trendmaker was the developer of Grand Lakes. We purchased one of first 10 homes sold in Grand Lakes and the early going was very rough indeed. However, look at Grand Lakes now! Cross Creek is at the early stage of its beginning with some homes under contstruction and the front enrance a work in process. The good news for home buyers is that the first major section being developed is located in the Katy ISD!! Future sections will be in the Lamar ISD but this is a huge development covering approximatetly 3,200 acres.

Schools are WoodCreek Elementary, WoodCreek Jr. High School and Seven Lakes High School.

Cross Creek is close to the small town of Fulshear which was established in 1890 and this should give the entire development a small town look and feel. Plans are for over 400 acres of lakes, 25 miles of trails and restoration of Flewellen Creek as the main centerpiece of the neighborhood. Cross Creek Commons will have a Health and Fitness center, a community cafe, outdoor courtyard and the Welcome Center which features a 70 foot elevator tower with lookout at the top and a view of the entire area. Cross will also have a Water Park with a water slide that will wind down a 40 foot man made hill, a wading pool for small children, resort sized swimming pool, splash pad and shaded seating areas.

Builders include Trendmaker, Ashton Woods, Perry, David Weekly and Village Builders. Several homes are now in the framing stage and several look very intriguing.

I would be happy to show any of you this new and exciting subdivision as my specialization is being a Buyer's Representative. Let me know if this  subdivision sounds good to you!!! Go early and pick the home site you always dreamed of before the community is really discovered and all the exceptionally home sites are sold to someone else!

I will take pictures and write additional reports as this area evolves.
