HOME SELLERS - HOW WILL POTENTIAL BUYERS LOOK AT MY HOME?
It is extrememly important for a home to make the best possible first impression on all prospective buyers. The following items will create problems with potentential buyers:
* All clutter - remove as soon as poosible!!!!
* Lawn needs mowing and edging.
* Peeling paint anywhere on the home.
* Grease or oil spots on the driveway.
* Dead plants and dying plants and/ or grass that is not green.
* Untrimmed hedges and shrubs.
* Worn carpets and drapes including carpeting with spots.
* Dirty windows, kitchens and baths. Dirt turns everyone off!!
* Pet and smoking odor. These days only 15 % or lower of potential buyers smoke but most smoke outside when they are home.
* Peeling paint, smudges or marks on the wall or ceiling.
* Water marks on the ceiling from anything that leaked.
